I've been a huge fan of Cold Steel for over 20 years now, especially for fixed blade knives, swords, and training weapons. They are one of the only companies that publish the results of their destructive testing. They also make rubber training versions matching the design of their popular knives. I've never found one that matches the SRK exactly, but I'd suggest the Recon Tanto training knife as a substitute. Overall the SRK is a very solid knife with a good grip and a slick Secure-Ex® sheath (Cold Steel's version of kydex). If you want a clip point fixed blade with high performance, this is the knife for you.
